The RBI has joined Project Nexus.
Project Nexus a international initiative to enable instant cross-border retail payments by interlinking domestic Fast Payments Systems(FPSs).
Project Nexus is designed to standardise the way instant payment systems connect to each other.
India’s UPI and FPSs of Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand will be interlinked through Project Nexus.
