 Cyclones that hit India in 2023 and 2024:


2023:
- Cyclone Biparjoy: Hit Gujarat on June 15, 2023, with speeds in excess of 150 km/hr.

- Cyclone Mandous: Hit the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and coast of Chennai on December 14, 2022, but its effect was felt in 2023 too.

- Cyclone Sitrang: Hit the eastern and north eastern states of Assam, Odisha, West Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar Islands during October 22-25, 2022, but its effect was felt in 2023 too.

- Cyclone Michaung: Hit Andhra Pradesh on December 5th, 2023.

- Cyclone Midhili: Hit the Bangladesh coast on November 17th, 2023, and affected India too.

- Cyclone Hamoon: Hit the southeastern coast of Bangladesh on October 25th, 2023, and affected India too.

- Cyclone Mocha: Formed in the Bay of Bengal on May 10, 2023, and hit Bangladesh, affecting India too.

2024:
- Cyclone Remal: Hit India, specifically the coastal regions of West Bengal, on May 26, 2024, with wind speeds of up to 135 km/h.
